TL;DR — The short version
We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, phone number, profile details, payment information (processed by Razorpay — we do not store full card numbers), booking requests, and messages to creators. We also collect usage data: pages visited, searches, device type, and IP address via standard server logs.
We use your information to: (a) process bookings and payments, (b) connect fans with creators, (c) send order status notifications, (d) improve the platform and personalise recommendations, (e) detect and prevent fraud, and (f) comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Creator profiles including name, bio, Instagram handle, and average rating are publicly displayed on the Platform. Creators' bank account and UPI details are stored encrypted and only used for payouts. Agreement signatures are stored as records of consent.
We use essential cookies to manage sessions and authentication. We use analytics cookies (via a privacy-respecting provider) to understand how users interact with the Platform. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect functionality.
We share your data only with: (a) payment processor Razorpay to process transactions, (b) cloud infrastructure providers (AWS, Supabase) under data processing agreements, (c) law enforcement when required by law. We do not share your email or contact details with other users unless you explicitly choose to do so.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Order records are retained for 7 years for financial/legal compliance. You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time; financial records may be retained to comply with Indian GST/accounting laws.
Under applicable law, you have the right to: access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion ("right to be forgotten"), object to processing, and data portability. To exercise these rights, email privacy@fanreel.in. We respond within 30 days.
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, database row-level security (RLS), and secure credential storage. No system is 100% secure; if you suspect a breach, contact security@fanreel.in immediately.
Fanreel is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will notify you of material changes by email or a prominent notice on the Platform at least 14 days before they take effect.
